Terms of Service & Sale

By using Turtle Mail's website or mobile application, or by completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to use Turtle Mail.

The Service

Turtle Mail allows users to select photographs, compose a personal message, enter a delivery address, and send physical printed photographs by mail through our fulfillment partner, Prodigi. Turtle Mail does not require account registration — no usernames, passwords, or login profiles are used. Pricing is $25 per package to United States and United Kingdom destinations, and $100 per package to all other destinations. Some destinations cannot be shipped to and will be declined at checkout. Enterprise customers may purchase credit blocks in advance and redeem individual credits over time.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

The accuracy of the recipient name and delivery address you enter for each order. Turtle Mail is not responsible for undeliverable mail resulting from an incorrect address, and no refund or reprint will be issued for this reason.
Ensuring you have the right to share and print any photographs you submit.
Ensuring the content of your personal message is lawful and does not constitute harassment, threats, or illegal content.
Obtaining consent from photograph subjects before sending their images to a third party.

Content Moderation

All photographs submitted through Turtle Mail are automatically screened using Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch before printing. If this screening service is unavailable, your order will be held rather than approved — orders are never printed without a completed moderation check. We reserve the right to cancel any order containing prohibited content without refund.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Turtle Mail to send:

Obscene, offensive, or sexually explicit content
Threatening or harassing messages
Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
Unsolicited commercial advertising
Any content that violates applicable law

Third-Party Services

Turtle Mail uses Prodigi for print and mail fulfillment, Stripe for payment processing, Cloudinary for temporary image storage, and Google Cloud Vision for content moderation. Your use of Turtle Mail is also subject to each of these providers' own terms of service and privacy policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Turtle Mail is provided on an as-is, as-available basis. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates — production and delivery timing is determined by our fulfillment partner and the postal carrier, and is outside our direct control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turtle Mail shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Intellectual Property

The Turtle Mail name, logo, and associated branding are the intellectual property of Turtle Mail. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our branding without prior written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Turtle Mail after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Terms of Sale

All Sales Are Final

Because every order is custom printed on demand specifically for you, all sales are final. We do not offer cash refunds, credit refunds, or store credit under any circumstances, including change of mind or dissatisfaction with image quality resulting from the photos you submitted.

Shipping Damage — Free Reprint Policy

If your package arrives damaged in transit, your sole remedy is a free reprint, issued at our discretion following manual review. We do not issue cash or credit refunds for shipping damage. By completing a purchase, you agree to accept a replacement print as the sole remedy for transit damage.

Reprints are subject to the following conditions:

A claim must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. Claims submitted after this window will not be accepted.
You must provide a clear photo of the damage as part of your claim.
Only one reprint is permitted per order. A second reprint will not be issued.
Submitting a claim does not guarantee approval — every claim is reviewed by a person before a reprint is issued.

To submit a damage claim, use our damage claim form with your order number (begins with TM-), a description of the damage, how it occurred, and a photo of the damaged print.

Chargeback Policy

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Sale, including the reprint-only remedy for shipping damage described above. If a chargeback is initiated that is inconsistent with these Terms, Turtle Mail reserves the right to dispute it and to submit evidence of your agreement to these Terms, together with delivery and reprint-fulfillment records, in response.
